Minister Taneva spoke with farmers in Lyaskovets and attended the opening ceremony for the renovated culture center for the ballet festival in the town
The Minister of Agriculture Dessislava Taneva attended the opening ceremony for the renovated culture center in Lyaskovets and visited a meeting with local farmers.
The meeting of Minister Taneva and local farmers was held in the former Youth center. More than 30 stakeholders attended, eager to discuss different subjects and problems in the sector.
The Minister of Agriculture later participated in the official opening ceremony for the renovated building of the town`s culture center. The ceremony was attended by the mayor of Lyaskovets Dr. Ivelina Getsova and the chair of the culture center “Napredak 1870” – Mr. Vassil Rusev. Father Bogdan, local priest, blessed everybody with special ceremony and the guests were invited to take a look at the renovated halls, the library, theater hall, dressing rooms. The renovation of the culture center was part of the “Renovation of Community Culture Center “Napredak – 1870”, town of Lyaskovet” Project, funded by the Programme for development of rural areas for the 2014-2020 period.
The main activities of the project was dedicated to renovating and improving the performance characteristics of the building – changing the pavement, interior doors, renovation of the theater hall, including furniture and scene equipment, creating accessible environment to the library and other service areas, creating and furnishing new restrooms, changing the plumbing installation, building installation for hot water, renovating the alleys leading to the east and west facade of the culture center. With the implementation of the project is created suitable environment for organizing of more than 120 events and performances yearly in the building of the largest cultural institution on the territory of the municipality of Lyaskovets. Insuring access to the culture activities and the library for more than 1050 people with disabilities. The environment for rehearsal of the art clubs is improved. The theater hall is renewed, new scenic lights are installed, new chairs for the audience, sound equipment and a device for moving wheel chairs.
For upgrading the activities on the project, Lyaskovets Municipality funded Culture Center “Napredak – 1870” for buying new furniture and equipment for improving the conditions for storage of the requisites of the art clubs and companies as part of the Fund for supporting local initiatives, which project is in process of implementation. Right after the official ceremony started the first event in the renewed center – the XII National Youth Ballet Meeting. The official start of the traditional ballet festival gave the mayor dr. Ivelina Getsova. “It is an honor for me to open the XII edition of the National Youth Ballet Festival, which became a tradition and made our town one of the centres of the ballet art. I thank you from the depth of my heart, dear artists! There is no bigger joy for the artist from the moment when it`s time to gather the fruit of his work and to live through every moment of dancing. I wish you all health before everything else! Always be so filled with joy, tenderness and beauty. Continue to conquer the hearts of the audience and may our town be the meeting point of talent, elegance and of incredible moments of festive euphoria”- she said. In the first night of the forum the guests and people from the town enjoyed the play “I want to dance”. In the play participated the students of the host dance studio “Rhythm” with artistic director Valya Atanasova and tutor Maria Ivanova. Tomorrow the guests from Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Debelets, Targovishte and Shumen will present a concert, starting at 6 pm, on the stage of the renovated culture center in Lyaskovets.
